Brecha, articula o encontro entre troncos de árvores caídos e o retrato humano a partir de uma reflexão sobre tempo, degradação e interdependência. Inspirada pela ideia de uma vida vegetal relacional e subterrânea, a exposição que se apresenta sob a forma de tríptico em movimento, propõe um deslocamento do olhar antropocêntrico: o tronco não surge como resto ou ruína, mas como corpo em transformação, portador de um tempo lento, contínuo. O retrato, introduz um tempo biográfico, finito, que tenta fixar-se perante a erosão do tempo, da matéria e da própria imagem. Entre ambos abre-se uma brecha – temporal, material e ontológica – onde se cruzam ritmos incompatíveis. A degradação não é aqui sinal de fim, mas condição de continuidade, revelando formas de coexistência invisíveis, instáveis e necessariamente incompletas. É nesse espaço de tensão que a montagem coloca estes regimes temporais em relação, implicando o espectador num intervalo onde a perceção circular se desloca, sem nunca se resolver.

Brecha articulates the encounter between fallen tree trunks and the human portrait based on a reflection on time, degradation and interdependence. Inspired by the idea of a relational and subterranean plant life, the exhibition, presented in the form of a moving triptych, proposes a shift in the anthropocentric gaze: the trunk does not appear as a remnant or ruin, but as a body in transformation, bearing a slow, continuous time. The portrait introduces a biographical, finite time that attempts to fix itself in the face of the erosion of time, matter and the image itself. Between the two, a gap opens up – temporal, material and ontological – where incompatible rhythms intersect. Here, degradation is not a sign of the end, but a condition of continuity, revealing invisible, unstable and necessarily incomplete forms of coexistence. It is in this space of tension that the montage brings these temporal regimes into relation, involving the viewer in an interval where circular perception shifts without ever resolving itself.
