SACO AZUL is a cultural association composed by a core group of artists and friends that surrounds and defines Maus Hábitos, a venue in the city of Porto.
It is the engine for the creative projects of Maus Hábitos, presenting monthly active artistic programming, in house as well as outside.
Saco Azul Associação Cultural was founded in 2002 with the aim of promoting an artistic program that promotes research, experimentation, creation, innovation and critical thinking.
Located at Maus Hábitos - Cultural Intervention Space, an iconic site in the city of Porto, the association programs for this space but also out of doors.
In these almost 19 years it has thus consolidated its structure and extended its influence on the panorama of the city, the country and internationally.
Saco Azul has received continuous support by DgArtes, Ministry of Culture, since 2011. In addition to receiving other funding from the Porto Chamber, it has also received support from many other entities, such as the Brazilian Ministry of Culture, in addition to countless and valuable partners that support their activities.
