ACCA – André Covas and Carmo Azeredo – is a portuguese duo from Porto, currently based in Madrid, Spain. Through the complementarity and crossing of their professional bases of plastic arts, design and music, they explore shared curiosities and concerns about the present times. 

Working as a duo since 2017, their works address themes such as the idea of Post-Nature and the Anthropocene, the realm of the artificial and the technological, the conflict between the desire for freedom and the need for control, among others. Their practice is developed in a multidisciplinary way, favouring the use of sound, video, text, image, design, sculpture, installation and new media.
