Continuing the work started in 2017, Vivarium Festival returns to Porto between the 26th and 28th of March.

With a program that crosses the areas of music, performance, dance, visual arts and thought, the event reflects on the technological impact on the arts and on human life. There will be 3 days of intense programming that extends to the city: Passos Manuel, Armazém 22, Reitoria da Universidade do Porto, in addition to the mother house, Maus Hábitos.

In 2020, the festival aims to open a debate based on Rimbaud's famous phrase “Je est un autre” [I is another]. It wants to explore what, by the self-perception of the living thing, differentiates it from the reasoning of artificial intelligences, with its implications in the field of aesthetics and ethics. This exploration will take shape in exhibitions, performances, concerts and with the conference "Je est un autre, instincts and institutions in the age of technology".
