Sama shows us acid poetical observations on contemporary anguish through themes coming from popular culture, literature and cinema. At the exhibition we bare witness to the reconstruction of the memory of our peripheral time and space, with reference to works of suspense or Sci-Fi that once have influenced the artist. It’s a social commentary with a more nihilistic and anti-hegemonic approach with a certain dose of dark humour. The result: a sort of an idiosyncratic tropical-pop-neo-expressionism.
