In the 1st session of the IndieJúnior Allianz, at Maus Hábitos, we propose a programme of four short films that reveal, in very diverse ways, topics of the current agenda of our society that reflect on themes about youth but also related to adulthood.

Capitalism, consumption and climate, gender identity, education and opportunities, family and technology, are some of the themes that will be raised on screen. All the films are full of fresh and ingenious images, with open and frontal speeches reflecting on these subjects.

Among animation, fiction and documentary, we show four short films that promise not to leave anyone indifferent.

For the debate, we invite the illustrator João Fazenda, who will talk about his latest animated film, Table, which can also be seen in this programme.

Girlsboysmix

Girlsboysmix is the perspective of an intersex child. It relates the story of Wen Long, 9 years old. At birth it was not clear whether she was a girl or a boy. Being intersex in a binary world, Wen Long wonders: where do I belong?
