Murmurar na Noite | Sebastião Resende
Cycle "Poetic or Political?", curatorship by João Baeta
[Free Entry]
"For this exhibition in the middle of this covid-20-summer of still very uncertain certainties and nebulous speech for people from places and times always been very unequal, and bound only to three pieces to present, I chose these photos / fulgurations in this exhaustion ...
They fit into series, sometimes of small constructions to be photographed, sometimes of encounters sufficiently vibrant to make it visible that goes beyond the inhospitable and adverse reality.
Look-anticipate-and-see, metamorphoses in images facilitated by optics, leisurely scintillations…
Imitating life ...
"There goes the poet's bicycle towards
the symbol, for an exemplary summer
day. With lungs to back and beak
in the air, the long-leg poet paws
the pedals on. A great memory, the signs
of supernatural days and the bike
secret history. The symbol is simple.
The emboli of the heart to the rhythm of the pedals -
there goes the poet towards his
signs." (H. Helder)."
