BIO

Felícia Teixeira (Vila Real, 1988) and João Brojo (Fundão, 1987) live and work in Porto.

They work as a duo since 2011, having participated in several collective exhibitions nationally and internationally in spaces such as Fundação de Serralves, Galeria Graça Brandão, Espaço Mira and New Jorg (Austria). Individual exhibitions include Validity of a study, Galeria Painel, Porto (2013); Almoço de Trabalhadores, O sol aceita a pele para ficar, Guimarães (2016) and Yah, Espaço Mira, Porto (2020).

They have participated in some artistic residencies from which we highlight the collaboration with Oficinas do Convento, in Montemor-o-Novo, Galeria Projecto-República das Artes, in Vila Nova de Cerveira and Encontrarte, in Amares.

They are represented in the Serralves Foundation Collection of Artist Books and in the Balaclava Noir Audiovisual Collection.

They graduated in Fine Arts - Multimedia at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto in 2011. In 2014, Felícia Teixeira completed her Master's in Contemporary Art Practices at the same institution.
