In a reinterpretation of the triptych "10 cm of dilation" made in 2019, Mafalda Santos presents a tribute to different generations of Portuguese women artists, inviting the viewer to a reflection on their inscription in collective and individual memory and their growing conquest of visibility.

Mafalda Santos is an artist and programmer. She has been exhibiting in Portugal and abroad since 2001. Graduated in Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto. Teacher at the Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo.

Her work is included in the Portuguese collections of António Cachola, of the EDP and Ilídio Pinho Foundations, RAR Group, PLMJ Foundation, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Lisbon City Hall and Porto City Hall and in the Art Collection of the Portuguese State.
