ACCA is a Portuguese multidisciplinary artistic duo, currently based in Madrid, formed by André Covas (designer and musician) and Carmo Azeredo (artist, researcher and cultural producer). Through the complementarity of their professional backgrounds, together they explore the intersection between art, music, design, technology and critical thinking, producing visual essays on some of the concerns and curiosities they share about current affairs. The artistic reflections they have been producing since late 2017 dialogue with themes such as digital democracy, cognitive biases, the post-truth era, the conflict between the desire for freedom and the need for control, the Anthropocene, among others.

Their artistic practice develops in various ways, favouring the use of sound, text, image, new media, design, sculptural production and installation format. They collaborate and are part of the collective CampaNice and the Saco Azul Cultural Association, both in Porto, and in Madrid they have a small independent studio/space for art and design called ACCAstudio.
