A SALA (The Living Room) was a space dedicated to performance that arose from the need to experiment and create, in which, from 2006 to 2010, António Lago and Susana Chiocca held monthly presentations in the living room of their apartment. Now, challenged by the residency project Ao Monte, they travel to Maus Hábitos and present over the course of 3 Saturdays a Series of 13 Performances intercalated with an Exhibition, presenting new performative projects of artists Alexandre Osório, Ana Deus, Ana Ulisses, André Fonseca, António Lago, António Melo, António Olaio, Cristina Mateus, Paulo Mendes, Pedro Tudela, Ramiro Guerreiro and Susana Chiocca.

A SALA is the 3rd collective invited to join the residences A​o Monte, a project of João Brojo and Felícia Teixeira, coordinated by Carmo Osul, that consists of making 7 artist’s books by groups of artist that have marked and still mark Oporto in the last decade.
