After the collectives Rua do Sol, A Fundação, A Sala, Senhorio and Inter+disciplinar+idades, it’s Embankment’s turn of taking part of the project Ao Monte. The final exhibition of the group residency for the creation of an artist book by the artist collective Embankment opens on 12th of November in Maus Hábitos.

Embankment #09 develops images from landfills in advanced sedimentation process, in which the camouflage of debris is a new geospatial coordinate.

The Embankment collective consists of Aida Castro, Jonathan Saldanha and Maria Mire, and for this project had the collaboration of Dayana Lucas.

This is the sixth residency of Ao Monte, a the project that consists in the production of 7 artist books by groups of artists that have marked and still mark the city of Porto in the last decade. The project is directed by João Brojo and Felícia Teixeira and coordinated by Carmo Osul.
