InResidence 2022, 6ª edição 

◍ About

InResidence is part of the project Caravana of Saco Azul Associação Cultural, dedicated to artistic creation, which seeks to welcome national and international artists through protocols of crossing and exchange with other partners.

InResidence is a platform created and supported by ÁGORA – CULTURA E DESPORTO, E.M., which brings artists closer to work opportunities, in the area of visual arts and other artistic disciplines, in spaces in the city of Porto.

This year 2022, for the first time under this program, we will launch an open call to select an artist from any country to participate in this sixth edition of InResidence.

◍ Dates: 

Residence: October 15th – December 15th

• first part – atelier Saco Azul/Maus Hábitos: Oct 15th - Nov 25th
  

• second part  – open atelier in exhibition room: 26.11 – 15.12 / Nov 26th 
  

◍ Conditions: 

• two months of residency in Saco Azul/Maus Hábitos 
  

• travel expenses paid by Saco Azul Associação Cultural
  

• stay at Saco Azul/Maus Hábitos
  

• per diem of 1.200 euros for the period of residence upon presentation of a tax document*
  

• production value for the work to be performed
  

• support from the team to carry out the residency
  

* the per-diem amount is paid upon presentation of invoices, duly completed with the Saco Azul taxpayer, or upon presentation of a receipt or invoice by the artist, which can be issued before the start of the residency.

All applications must be submitted until April 30th, 2022 at 11:59 pm (Portugal time). The result will be communicated in mid-June. Applications are open to national and international visual arts artists. The application can be presented in Portuguese or English.
